As the social worker at a large cancer center, I see many patients who are Matt and Angie, I first want to thank you for taking the time to review our story of tragedy and consider us as a family to help through the Show Me A Cure Helping Hand program. I can't begin to tell you how relieved I felt when you called me and told me that you picked our family to help financially for the month of August 2010. After losing a child, being diagnosed with cancer, and spending months in the hospital, of course I was unable to work. The financial burden fell solely on my husband and he had just returned to work after an 8 month layoff. Show Me A Cure is a wonderful organization to help families in need and we are truly grateful.
